History (Optional Co-op) (Program Major)

Historical study explores the past to explain the present and illuminates the present through the past. This History program provides students with opportunities to discover, understand and assess past times and changes over time. Students will develop strong writing and critical analysis skills.

Studying history provides an essential background for many disciplines and professions where research analysis, communication skills and an understanding of how past events influence the present are important.
