Food Science (Optional Co-op) (Advanced Entry)

The Food Science program gives students the opportunity to explore how raw commodities are processed into healthy, safe and appealing foods. Students have the option to focus their studies on either the business (product development and marketing) or the science (food quality and safety) aspects of this fascinating sector.

The professors in the Food Science program are world renowned researchers in cutting edge facilities applying innovative technologies. Courses include food safety, chemistry, microbiology, engineering and sensory science.
