Classics - Greek (Program Major)

Studying for a degree in classics takes students on a journey to the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome and the beginning of the history and culture of Western civilization.

A Bachelor of Arts in Classics focuses on the languages, literature, history, art, religion and intellectual life of ancient Greece and Rome—two cultures considered for their formative role at the beginnings of Western civilization and their continued influence on modern society.

Students may specialize in Classical Studies, Greek language and literature or Latin language and literature.
