Taught by world-leading researchers with integrated media practice learning, this course allows students to gain a critical understanding of the role media play in social, economic, political and cultural life. Students will develop their expertise and practical skills in areas such as media, journalism, community radio, documentary making and advertising.
Explore the relationship between the media and culture, identity and lifestyle, and globalisation with this degree. Combining media production and media analysis, students will study television, film, the internet, the press, popular music, social media and media audiences, as well as having the opportunity to develop their own media practice in photography, filmmaking and audio production.
This course will provide students with a critical understanding of the role media plays in social, economic, political and cultural life. Students will be taught by world-leading researchers and given presentations from industry experts and practitioners.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
