This intensive London Metropolitan University course has proven extremely popular with students due to built-in opportunities for work placements, the balanced programme of both applicable and theoretical mathematics, and enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff who help students develop both their problem-solving and IT skills. 

Through this course, students will build their knowledge, understanding and expertise in a range of mathematical methods, and develop the career-focused, transferable skills that employers are looking for. Students will learn to use mathematical reasoning in a variety of contexts and apply their knowledge in problem-solving situations.

Students will begin by studying the fundamentals of mathematics, such as calculus and linear algebra, and proofs and structures. As the course goes on, students will have the opportunity to specialise in their areas of interest such as cryptography and coding, the mathematics of infinity and financial modelling.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
