Biochemistry (Optional Co-op) (Program Major)

Biochemistry is the discipline that attempts to understand humans and their interactions with nature from the direction of the physical sciences. It is the study of the chemistry of life. Both Microbiology and Chemistry share in the teaching and administration of the Biochemistry (BSc) program..

The Biochemistry programs combines two fascinating areas of life sciences - chemistry and microbiology. Students are taught by excellent faculty in both departments who have externally funded research programs, including two Canada Research Chairs.
